About the CLA Blog
The Criminal Lawyers’ Association (CLA) Blog is intended to provide a platform for its members to communicate ideas, feedback and viewpoints. Only current CLA members and special invitees can submit posts. Blog postings will be accessible by members, non-members and the public at large for reading and commenting on.
Members may submit to the blog by providing their first and last name and email below. Please allow up to two-business days for posting. Submissions to this blog must be the members’ original content (both words and images). Please remember to keep the posts between 200 to 500 words.
The blog administrator is NOT an editor of content. The administrator will serve only to ensure submissions and comments are:
- Are relevant to member interests.
- Are not a sales pitch, advertisement or purely promotional pieces promoting a service or product.
- Are in line with the Law Society of Upper Canada Rules of Professional Conduct (http://www.lsuc.on.ca/with.aspx?id=671)
- Do not contain any offensive language that would violate the Ontario Human Rights Code (http://www.e-laws.gov.on.ca/html/statutes/english/elaws_statutes_90h19_e.htm)
Once submitted to the blog, the Criminal Lawyers’ Association owns the rights to the information submitted.
